26 Mar True Wealth
To “have nothing” is a relative term. It depends on what you place value on. People spend a lifetime building desires and expectations, and then accumulating objects or experiences to sustain their happiness. Desire and disappointment go hand in hand. When we shelter one, we invite in the other. Wisdom is not just a collection of knowledge, but rather the mastery in interpreting it. Some will look at this picture and see an impoverished little girl who has nothing. I see an enlightened soul that is smiling because she knows she has everything. A smile is the richest moment one can have in life. At that brief instant you are the wealthiest person in the world, and those that witness it share in your prosperity.
